Join over 500 satisfied Contractors and work with Hays Clients!We are currently looking for a Software Engineers for our Client, who will be responsible for designing secure embedded system architectures. <br />If you have experience with embedded systems, low-level programming in C, and a passion for cybersecurity — this opportunity is for you!<br /><ul>
<li>Location: remote work</li>
<li>Type of contract: B2B via Hays</li>
<li>Rate: 140-180 pln/h net + vat (depends on experience, negotiable)</li>
<li>Project: automotive industry</li>
</ul><br />Requirements:<ul>
<li>Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field</li>
<li>Experience with C and low-level development</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of embedded systems, networking, cryptography, and resource management</li>
<li>Hands-on experience in security incident handling and threat management</li>
<li>Familiarity with cybersecurity engineering and risk assessment</li>
<li>Experience with tools like Enterprise Architect, Jira, Polarion</li>
<li>Proficient in English (technical documentation)</li>
</ul><br />Nice to have:<ul>
<li>Knowledge of ISO 21434, UNECE WP29, and other automotive standards</li>
<li>Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., ISO 21434 CSMS)</li>
<li>Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet)</li>
<li>Familiarity with Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi</li>
<li>Ability to read schematics and design hardware/software interfaces</li>
<li>Experience with AUTOSAR platforms and secure hardware technologies (HSM, TEE, ARM TrustZone)</li>
</ul><br />Responsibilities:<ul>
<li>Analyze requirements and conduct threat modeling</li>
<li>Review and approve third-party solutions</li>
<li>Create and maintain cybersecurity system architecture and documentation</li>
<li>Provide technical expertise in software, hardware, and manufacturing security</li>
<li>Research and apply cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies in automotive</li>
<li>Develop strategies for prototypes and demos</li>
<li>Design solutions to mitigate hardware, firmware, and software vulnerabilities</li>
<li>Identify and utilize embedded platforms for future automotive systems</li>
<li>Act as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity evaluations and assessments</li>
<li>Guide product teams through integration and validation of new security design</li>
