The Czech subsidiary of HAHN Automation was founded in 2012 to strengthen the activities on the Central and Eastern European market. We develop, design and produce special machines, robot workstations and automated production lines that meet the requirements of our customers, especially in the automotive, plastics and rubber sectors.</p><p style="text-align:center;"> We are planning to enter the Polish market and are looking for an experienced sales engineer with a background in mechanical engineering.</p><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Market analysis and penetration to target customers based on strategy.</li><li>Acquisition activities, acquiring new customers based on HAHN's strategy and experience</li><li>Preparation of bids according to the type of offer (equipment, add-on, upgrade, service, spare parts, etc.).</li><li>Project planning and concept development (Independent development of technical concepts, creation of 2D layout) according to customer requirements. Technical and commercial clarification of completed enquiries and projects.</li><li>Preparation of quotations after checking customer specifications, project costing, coordination of contractors and conducting contract award negotiations.</li><li>Customer care and project support: Technical and commercial clarification of the contract with the customer and handover of the contract to the internal organisation.</li><li>Creating orders and confirming orders in the ERP systém and overseeing the project during order with the project manager.</li><li>Coordination of service issues with customers, claiming outstanding payments from customers.</li><li>Preparation and implementation of regular customer visits and continuous contact.</li><li>Handing over orders to the project team/service team and their support.</li><li>Cooperation with all departments of the employer, coordination of complex issues with specialist departments.</li><li>Marketing activities, promotion and presentation of the employer at various events.</li><li>Social media activities in line with the employer's marketing and PR strategy.</li></ul><h3>Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Completed university studies in Mechanical Engineering or secondary vocational education in a technical field.</li><li>Several years of professional experience in the following areas: technical sales, automation, test engineering, general engineering, electrical or mechanical engineering.</li><li>Very good knowledge of English or German, other foreign languages an advantage</li><li>Knowledge: CRM/ERP, 2D systém CAD, fundamentals of mechanics and fundamentals of electrical engineering in automation technology</li><li>Strong IT skills (confident in using MS Office products and IT tools such as CRM, ERP, collaboration and  communication tools)</li><li>Basics of business administration, analytical and conceptual skills</li><li>Personal initiative and responsibility</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills and presentable behaviour</li><li>High level of flexibility, willingness to travel, driving license B</li></ul><h3>We offer:</h3><ul><li>Home office, with regular travel to clients across Poland and occasional business trips to the headquarters in the Czech Republic or Germany.</li><li>Company car (also for private use), e.g., Škoda or Volkswagen</li><li>Competitive salary + performance-based bonuses</li></ul><p>I consent to the processing of my personal data for the purposes necessary to carry out the recruitment process (in accordance with the Act of May 10, 2018, on the Protection of Personal Data (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1000) and in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and Council (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR).</p><p>The position is based at our branch in the Czech Republic.
